ONCE BITTEN, TWICE SPY

Once Bitten, Twice Spy is a high-intensity romp full of deadly criminals, fatal traps, and general mayhem. The story has multiple scenes of sci-fi fantasy action, complete with physical and magical brutality, weapon use, lipstick-shaped gun violence, dismemberment, homicidal house plants, bombing, medical trauma references, torture, murder, and attempted murder. The story includes triggers for various phobias, including blood, needles, snakes, spiders, and taking a book from a library without checking it out first.

The novel also deals with several serious issues, including references to off-page physical and emotional abuse, child abuse, and bullying, as well as cult recovery, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, CPTSD, hospitalization, and death. While perhaps not as “spicy” as some things out there, Once Bitten, Twice Spy includes explicit sexual references that are depicted on page, as well as plenty of profanity and irreverence.
